I have been reading a lot blog posts saying that they are sorry for not being able to post XX days ago because they were to busy, they were on vacation, bla bla bla… But everytime that I read this on certain blogs I came to a conclusion that there are two reasons why they make this:
1. They don’t know about the timestamp tool.
2. They are not appasionated about their blog niche.
Also you may see many blogging tips about this saying that putting a guest blogger to blog for you but what about those bloggers that don’t have “guest bloggers”? For this issue, I always call the timestamp tool. When I know that I will go on vacation for xx days I make articles so when I am on vacation or I can’t blog it will be updated always depending on your post frequency (Googlelady post frequency is minimum 1 per day).
Another good tip to prevent something that is not in your hand for example being sick or having a rush day. What I always do is to put 10-15 articles on hold (Yes, that is 10 to 15 days free of blogging) with the timestamp tool. If I have time and I got a new news about Google for example, or any other offer I will post the same day when it is live.
I have mentioned #2 that they are not passionated about their niche blog, are those bloggers that don’t know what to write and always wait someone else to make an article and write something “similar” with the same idea.
For those that don’t know what is the timestamp it looks like this:
and it is located when you write an article in your right hand after “Post Status”. It is really a great tool and you have to use it whenever you have a clear mind and many ideas to write about. Many bloggers use one day of the week to write for the whole week and problogger is one of them. Hope that helps!
