Google Adsense News, Banned because placed the Adsense under the Post Title
This is a shocking news especially for us Google Adsense Publishers. I got this news from Indonesian Famous Adsense Publisher, Cosa Aranda.
Cosa Aranda is the most well known as a successful adsense publisher in Indonesia. Today, I just read his post (in indonesian language) reporting that one of his sites got banned by Google Adsense couple days ago. (note, it’s his site not his adsense account).
Then he sent a letter to Google Adsense Team asking why his site got banned. And the result as you may expected is really shocking. They said that Cosa’s adsense code should not be placed under the post title because it can raise ambiguous or accidental clicks on the ads.
This is pretty confusing since Cosa said that he had once asked Adsense Team to check his site just to make sure if he has implemented the ad code as Google Adsense tips and guidelines, and that time GA Team clarified that it was fine.
Unfortunately Cosa didn’t mention on his post which site is it so we can see and learn from it. I once actually has placed the adsense code under my post title too, but then because I see the CTR was to low, I removed it and replace it with ttzmedia ads. They pay me more then adsense
For you who run adsense on your site, you probably can learn from Cosa’s mistaken (well if you call it a mistake, since I don’t see anything wrong with placing the adsense code below post title). If adsense gives you good money, then you might want to be wise with this.
There are Cosa’s readers said that he has put space between the post title and the ads, and even gave them different background, so it’s pretty weird if GA Team said it can raise ambiguous or accidental clicks.
Just be smart, and always remember that Google Adsense is not the only advertising network on the internet. there are more of them, so don’t let it become your only income source.
Did you notice that there is only one ad code here on the site, and i’s not even in the content
